Tangerine boat

... floats my boat.. I think I may have to paint this..
Cold again and an early start for a back appointment.. was given a thorough working over and know I will feel better for it but could barely stay awake for most of the day. 
Range engineer came to give it a service.. and left it stinking of kerosene.. not good. Out with many candles to try and clear the fumes after daring to have all the doors open a while to help clear the smell. I have no idea how sometimes he leaves the cooker stinking like this.. I guess he spilt some fuel and it has to burn off but the ovens all reek when you open them.. Supper ended up being a take away from our local Indian restaurant as there wasn't enough heat to cook on. 
Landscape artist on Sky and they had to tackle a quarry.. rather them than me.. what a horrible subject to tussle with while coping with the TV   crew!!
I managed to buy two garden tables 5ft x 3ft made of oak for £150 and until they arrived I was convinced I had been duped and that they would not be what I had hoped but they arrived tonight and I think I found a bargain.. whooppee! Our old tables are getting very ropey and so I will put them on Gumtree as they have a little use left for someone to enjoy. 
I like having two tables the same so that we can put them together and sit 10 happily... just hoping we may get some decent weather this summer to enjoy entertaining in the garden
