Hillend Alpine Coaster

Another almost freezing day. A bit of snow in the morning, then hail, then light rain. Walk out around the park. Still murky, so still a dark grey outline of Edinburgh Castle against a light grey background isn't really photo worthy. No falling snow to walk in to today. Collect weekly photography magazine, then head home.

After work, a bit of brightness. There is even a hint of sun peeking out behind a cloud. The Pentlands have a weird haze surrounding them, with  a hint of orange. Blip photo shows the new Alpine (well Pentland) coaster at Hillend next to the ski slope. If you view it large, you might be able to see a couple of sledges heading down the slope and one heading up to the top on the straight rail. It has been quite popular. A fast walk home so that we can feel the warmth of central heating.
