Painter

I had no idea that it was someone’s job to paint letterboxes, but that’s what this man was doing. I have so many questions: how often do they get painted? Does he just go from town to town, only painting letterboxes? How many can he do in a day? Do they all have the same paint or are their subtle variations only visible to the expert eye? I wish I’d been brave enough to ask him but I wasn’t.

Day of bits and bobs of work, changing sheets, picking up car keys, that sort of nonsense. All good.
