Goldfinch

Well we haven't had the blue skies of yesterday but in the end quite a lot of sun.  Oh it does make you feel better, doesn't it..

I found this goldfinch amongst others at the start of the reserve circuit.  They love feeding in the alder trees and it was brilliant to see them.  However, I didn't go any further than this, I'm still feeling a bit tired and now I've given my bug to both J and K, which isn't so good.  Other birds seen include robins, great tits, a couple of wrens, and a heron disappearing into the marshes.  I also think the sparrowhawks may be back.

Nothing much else.  Spent the afternoon sleeping mostly.
