A Lone Feather

Another morning of dog walking..a total of 5.5 miles….so I am slowly pulling back my deficit on the 1200 miles challenge..only 13 miles adrift of target now!

It was flippin’ cold out but at least it stayed dry…the rain arrived at lunchtime.

There was a little pile of feathers on the path..I suspect that a bird had become a meal for someone. Anyway, this one feather had nestled in some leaves and I thought it looked quite shiny.

Dogs are snoozing on the sofa…the one good thing about getting them out for longish walks….Madwill may have had a small snooze in the armchair too :-)
