Papa's Tree

Treelink ran an art competition last year. My younger granddaughter (aged 5) entered this drawing which I think is excellent. Today the girls, their auntie and I went on the bus to the university to see it displayed with all the other entries. 

It's the girls' half term and their dad dropped them off at 07:00. After breakfast they played with Lego then made cup cakes, with minimal supervision. This involved them going to our local shop, unaccompanied, to buy more eggs. The nine year old is very responsible. 

We went out for pizza before the bus trip and we're now back at the house for a couple of hours before they go home. It's lovely to have them here.
