Blackford Primary

I was going through more boxes of photos and found this gem from around 1964. Must the early primary years, we all looked very young in the face. I look at the faces and wonder what became of a lot of these youngsters. I know 5 here that are no longer with us. The one next to me is a convicted paedophile, not sure if he has been released from jail. There are a few farmers sons and daughters in this photo from times when there were many working farms in the area, before the nasty Arab that bought the land and shut down most of them, arrived. He then opened a factory in the village that produces mass plastic . How odd was it that the village was told that the water wasn’t fit for consumption and we were moved to a different supply from Crieff but a few years later Highland Spring was created , selling the very water that was ‘unfit for human consumption’…..

At my class this morning.

In the evening I booked a week long trip to Funchal on Madeira. Never been. It’s a solo trip as S has lots of curling.
