The scones won!

In the pancakes v scones war the scones were victorious! They made a tasty snack for morning coffee (or orange juice) for me and S. With some of yesterday's jam of course.
A nice walk with the dogs this morning, a wee bit baking and now some dreaded paperwork. I've tried ignoring it but if anything the pile appears to be growing.....
Looking forward to L coming home tonight. The house has been rather quiet without him.
