Focus stack

I was clearing out a couple of boxes in the loft (that was put there when we moved in 5 years ago) and came across one of my parents old Caithness paperweights - though I do wonder if any have ever been used for their designed purpose? We aren't getting rid of it, so it's currently on some shelves in the lounge. I really liked the little bubbles in the glass, so decided to photograph it. A single shot wasn't going to cut it, so I tried a focus stack - ended up merging over 20 images, and getting a 5GB file!

Not a bad result though!
