From Poverty to Prosperity...

IMPACT Nepal has been running a micro credit scheme for mothers in Nepal, giving them loans to help them support themselves. Gyanukumari used a loan to invest in some pigs and poultry and was able to make a profit selling the eggs from her hen and selling the piglets on.

IMPACT believes in working within communities to help people help themselves; giving them a 'hand-up' out of poverty rather than a 'hand out'.
