My Raku Attempt

This is the result of a Raku firing we did on Sunday when I was visiting my parents. My mum recently purchased a Raku kiln and her and my dad are having lots of fun experimenting with it. It is creating a new and impressive dynamic to her sculpture.

As you can see my pottery skills are very limited but I loved the cracked effect the glaze and Raku firing gave on my little vase. However, I do think that I will be more of a buyer and appreciator of these things rather than a maker myself.
