River of Flowers

By doffy

Tuesday: Beautiful Morning

It was dry with no wind when we woke up, I had a leisurely breakfast and MrD decided on a ride over to the mainland on his motorbike.

Whilst I was drinking coffee and watching the birds at the feeders, I decided on a few garden jobs:

Collected together the large tubs with daffodil bulbs growing in them and moved them onto the low wall opposite the living room window so that we can enjoy the flowers … if there are any! :-)

Cut some long dry twigs into kindling for the log burner, they’re hazel and have been used as pea sticks in previous years

Collected old plastic tubs, labels and broken pots which went into the black bin

Remembered I’d bought a bag of fresh watercress at Waitrose yesterday, washed it carefully keeping substantial “branches” to one side and have dropped them into my mini pond so that they might take root and spread :-)

Continued watching “Partners in Crime” on iPlayer … https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p02vf6z5
