Lägh da Cavloc

Onwards and upwards. Today I managed a hike with already 200m altitude in two hours from Maloja up to the Lägh da Cavloc and back,

As the trail is mostly in the shade in winter, there is still soft snow and no ice on the ground. Ideal for me practicing walking down afterwards which is much more demanding for the knee than upwards.

Needless to say. Sun, deep blue sky and temperatures rising from -16° at 8am to +2° at noon.
