Careless Badgers....

....overnight, around the same time, several badgers carelessly walked out in front of vehicles......I counted five on the A7 between Hawick and Gala. Strange how that happens sometimes......

To Hawick for rubble bags from Tool Station and then to Gala for a spin and core class at the gym. The spin class was fairly punishing but do-able, the core session was ridiculous. The plan is to bag and move the excellent top soil, which would otherwise be lost under the cement slab for the oil tank, and then use it in the polytunnel when it's installed. 

Then back home avoiding the roadwork tailback on the A68 in the village, and another careless badger carcass, on the back road at Bemersyde.  

It's a cold one today.
