The old gate

I walked past here recently, but this is the first time I noticed this gate and the property behind it. It is a substantial house and, if it is a second home, it is a shame it is not cared for better. It could be that it is an inheritance and, as you cannot disinherit your children under French law, often properties remain empty as siblings cannot agree between themselves whether to sell or not. I did not have much market shopping to do in the morning so was back well in time to do some jobs before the tennis lesson. There was no French conversation as I had to take Mrs.TT in for her second dentist appointment.
