I ..............

 ............. think this is a Kite although his tail feathers are not as forked as I would have expected  ............  it was quite a distance away so, even at full lens stretch, it was STILL a distance away!!!   :o))

There were three of them wheeling about - beautiful to see from the kitchen doorway.

The local farmer has planted hundreds of trees and, now they are grown, there are deer, kites (??), buzzards, foxes (I am told but have never seen one) and a lot of magpies and jackdaws, crows and rooks.
They look nice too - way better than all the new houses that are springing up everywhere round here, filling the lovely fields and green areas.
