Not a surprise

I tried to stage a surprise for my friend at work and would have gotten away with it except somehow the food got delivered directly to her instead of the other entrance as planned. So she ended up getting into the conference room before everyone else and I ended up giving the delivery guy a bigger tip because I was afraid I made him feel bad about the mix-up.
