We are so glad to be home!
We left Blackwater Falls during the blizzard. The wind was howling and much of the drive down from the mountains was in white-out conditions. I am so grateful to be safely home. Huge shoutout to my husband for driving through the blizzard and to the incredible road crews who kept the roads passable. 
The roads were too treacherous to stop for a blip, so I took this photo when we got home..
In business since 1896, Cooksey’s is a popular general store near us. Our grandchildren love the Amish sweetbreads and their crab cake sandwiches are a local delicacy.
