A fabulous evening

We left Stratford early and visited Charlecote Park in very wet weather for a damp stroll and a rather good sausage butty! We had made arrangments to meet up with an old friend and her husband. We studied together many moons ago and spent lots of time together when our children were little. Unfortunately busy lives etc meant we had managed not to see each other for maybe 8 years. So we made a phone call and detoured on our way home to see them. They invited us out to their local Blues Club where we met some of their firends and what a wonderful evening we had. The band were so enthusiastic and obviously loved to play together. The Bass player was so good and had a great voice too. We had only intended to stay for an hour! We are now planning our next get together.
