Snow Flurries

It didn't settle but it was pretty cold. I was worried what it would be like for football later in the day. In the end it turned out very well. Despite the cold, once I started running about it was fine, and I seemed to have one of my best games for a long time. Started with assists on out first two goals, laying the ball off to team mates running through, but despite our early lead the other team pegged us back and then took a two goal lead themselves. I created a third goal but the other lot scored again almost immediately. But then I managed a neat turn in the box and gently chipped the ball into the far corner, all in one movement. Better yet soon afterwards I managed a quick change of feet to score at the near post, bringing a cross from the left hand side down with my right foot and tucking it away with my left. And then I brought down a higher pass and tucked it away on the turn. Now we were in the lead. We went another goal ahead but got pulled back again, ahead again and pulled back and then they equalised. We had a couple of great changes late on but their keeper pulled off two amazing saves to get across and block the ball and that was it. Another draw after a cracking game - A did a great job of picking the teams.
