Sound The Alarm!

The ramparts of Ludlow Castle. 

There are two people on the walls, watching me. I posed no threat and they were probably not soldiers, but it did put me in mind of days gone by, when seige engines and marauding armies were employed to attack these imposing walls.

A brief moment of fantasy, but these old ruins are evocative and one can get lost in history if imaginations are set free...
