I enjoyed an hour bouldering at the Climbing Unit this morning, but was puzzled by all the youngsters there... until I realised that it was half-term.

This afternoon we'd arranged a walk around Elvaston Castle grounds, two other Mind Shop volunteers and I, but unfortunately I'd entered the event in my phone diary incorrectly. I arrived at Julie's house, knocked on the door and her husband told me they'd already gone... without me! I managed to meet up with them and discovered I was 45 minutes late. Oops!

Lovely to walk around the parkland though, something I haven't done since I moved five years ago. I wanted to go into the walled garden, a first for Julie and Margot although I wasn't expecting much with it being winter, but this Witch Hazel and Dogwood combination stole the show!

Edit: watching Ch4 with adverts, the new electric Ford Capri....???? It's nothing like the Ford Capri that I remember.
