Marches sunset

Late this afternoon, for the first time in what seems like two weeks, the sun appeared. Ten minutes later it set. Quite a bit of work done in the garden today. I decided to extend the kitchen garden by about six metres so that we can add a soft fruit cage. So far I've cut back various shrubs and started clearing the area. Quite a lot of turf will have to be lifted.

An update on yesterday's blip: I've since found two more watercolours - of the cathedrals at Hereford and at Worcester - by the same person. A note on the back of one says that it is by the Rev. Weston Wright. I haven't been able to find out anything more than that.
