Last petals to unfurl
A foggy, damp day today, but the sun came out this afternoon, with clouds coming and going. I took this shot of a protea in the garden when I liked the way the light was shining on it. The image isn't 100% sharp because of the wind (it was very windy this afternoon), but when I repeated the shot a bit later I couldn't duplicate the lighting.
That's what makes photography worthwhile for me. It isn't fully predicable, or repeatable.
