Buon Compleanno

We headed down to Yorkshire today for a week's holiday and to continue Orla's birthday celebrations. We had a lovely meal in a local Italian restaurant with Grandma and Grandad and Uncle Charles and Auntie Kirsty. We had lunch in the same place on our way back from London, when Orla saw the waiters preparing a big table for a party. She said to me, "Are the menz going to sing Happy Birthday to me?". And the "menz" did indeed do an excellent job of surprising her with her cake and singing happy birthday. Conor was at the end of the table in his car seat and I think every person who walked past him had a feel of his podgy wee feet. They are irresistible. Orla got a few more presents from Grandma and Grandad including a cute pink hat from Norway that will make a blip appearance soon, and a Lego Harry Potter board game from Uncle Charles and Auntie Kirsty. Mummy spent most of the evening constructing it; it was very therapeutic!
