Last glance before leaving

This was the view from our hotel window this morning at 08:15 as we got ready to leave for Malaga airport. Wherever possible, I prefer to stay in small independent rather than large chain hotels and this one was very small, located on a backstreet in the historic centre of Malaga. The downside was the noise at night from bars and restaurants along the lane. The first night I hardly slept a wink, the second night was fine as my brother in law’s  wife gave me some super ear plugs, the best I’ve ever used! The street cleaners were out early both mornings cleaning every bit of the ground, very impressive.
We’ve had a great holiday. It felt longer than nine nights, perhaps because it was so busy. Arrived home mid afternoon and glad to see Leela has been well looked after.
