Freezing on contact

It snowed overnight, which I didn't expect. Then freezing rain fell, turning everything into an icy, slushy mess. I shoveled the walkway for mail and packages. That was difficult to do because of the ice and slush. Yuck. Winter is dull. Florida vacation in four days.
