Impact of Spring flowers

Very gradually, and despite the conditions, more Spring colour is appearing in the garden. While Primroses are everywhere, it always surprises me that Snowdrops which spread profusely in the wild, are so sluggish to spread in the garden. This little lot are growing in the midst of Berberis stems!
