Derelict but still useful

Old tyres are often seen in use as a buffer on ships, but these derelict tyres which I spotted on my walk this morning are being used to protect a post at the entrance to an industrial unit: presumably big trucks were finding it difficult to avoid banging into it! They look white on this mono but in reality they've been painted with a teal-colour paint, I guess to make them more obvious.

I'll tag them for Marlieske's DS challenge, and for the February MonoMonth challenge although I confess I've not kept to that very well this year.
