Bingley Five Rise

This afternoon presented a small window of opportunity for a long run, the only chance this week. I was astonishingly lucky to be granted a corresponding window in the weather, the unremitting damp and greyness giving way to a few hours of sunshine.

I got the train to Shipley, ran along the canal to Skipton, from where I got the bus back to Ilkley. The marathon training is going better than I could have expected. Felt pretty comfortable for 16.5 miles in 2 hrs 30m.

A great way to end and an incredibly busy week.
