The old fish market

The jetty, which now houses a restaurant, on the left, the marina offices in the centre, and an exhibition hall on the right, was originally the location of Gijon's fish market 'La Antigua Rula', where the fishwives, immortalised in wood by Sebastián Miranda, would bid for the day's catch.
