Who's Looking At You?
The wait is finally over.
Not a single butterfly blip & then two come along at once. The Peacock butterfly was out in full force today & one was particularly accommodating & allowed me to get quite close. They really are very beautiful. The Brimstone variety, which I believe I blipped yesterday, were also out in their droves, flitting & dancing with one another. It was amazing to watch.
And yes, we have also finally learnt the identity of the twelfth Doctor Who. Peter Capaldi will be making his whovian debut in the Christmas episode, where the brilliant Matt Smith will bow out. It's seems like a very good choice & it's very exciting. I'm very much looking forward to this change at the helm of the Tardis & it should bring a freshness to the show which it was starting to need. We have the 50th Anniversary instalment before all that though, doubly exciting!
Jenny & I also kept up with our training, today notching up 6 & 7 mile runs respectively, to Cuckfield & back. We also continued our Harry Potter-a-thon, with the Order of the Phoenix, and we added triple chocolate brownies, daffodil icing to the cupcakes, peanut butter squares & the caramel & chocolate layers to the salted caramel millionaire shortbread, to our smorgasbord of bake sale treats. Cooking doesn't get tougher than this!
Bring on the bake sale!
