Clock tower

Still on family history trail. Visited Coggeshall today, a market town in Essex where my grandmother lived. Her mother’s family have lived here for hundreds of years. The core of the town is again very old and would have been familiar to them. Some beautiful buildings including the clock tower one of 240 listed buildings.
Unfortunately I failed to find much in the way of houses my forbears lived in. I suspect that a lot have been demolished - there is some more modern housing in its place.
