Happy Valentine's Day

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I have been really busy with work of late. For reasons beyond our control, Release 5.0 was late and went in this week, and the delays caused me a lot of extra work.

Unfortunately, Release 6.0 was not put back so that is also now IMMINENT and this is causing me another lot of extra work that I couldn't do earlier because Release 5.0.

As a result I did not get to pop to the shops to get Caro a Valentine's Day card and present. It's okay, we don't normally make a big fuss for it anyway. 

I just thought I might this year. 

Anyway, I sent her a text at the end of the day, saying, "I have done all the housework, and ordered fish and chips. This is as romantic as I get. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY."

And then I thought and added. "P.S. I also had a shower."

Caro was very happy with the above. She knows me well. Plus she loves fish and chips.
