Long lost friends

We went to London today to visit a very dear friend who is over from Melbourne.

It turned out to be a very bad day to drive to London, as there was some sort of bike race which meant that all the bridges over the Thames were closed, as was the south circular. We ended up having to drive back out of London to get to the m25 and then round east to eventually get to Sydenham.

It was so worth it in the end though. Between us we had 3 more children than when we last met, but it was as if we it had only been a week ago. I am very sad that I won't know when we'll get together again..
