If I had the money.....
I would buy a piece of land where I could have a cosy lodge & surround myself with trees, predominantly birch, as I can look at the shapes, colours & textures all day long.
Back in the real world, I dropped off a condolences card to Eve whose husband passed away earlier in the week. We've become friends since holding the charity plant sale together last year. That was early morning, picked up the papers etc at the local coop, then back home. Had a look at today's crossword as I needed to kill time until 9am. I wanted to ask the local pharmacist's advice on hubby taking his rescue pack meds.
Drove down to CK, walked in the back door, Mum was wearing her TV spectacles, & holding her reading glasses. Where did they come from???
Made her breakfast etc. then walked Indie. It was grey & wet. We still enjoyed ourselves. I spotted 3 new patches of frogs spawn so although I would love to see a few days of sunshine, the frogs spawn would suffer as it's all been laid in puddles.
Back at Mum's coffee, & a doodle, after putting the laundry on the airer, plus a few other chores. We headed up to Chudleigh for a toasted sandwich & horse racing.
Dropped hubby off at the pub on my way back down with Mum. We spent an hour on the latest jigsaw puzzle before I made her tea.
Picked hubby up from the pub on the way back. Watched an episode of The Earth's Greatest Spectacles. Svalbard in April/May... Can I add that to my "Bucket list". Iceland for the flora is probably more achievable.. I've only wanted to go there for the past 48 years. Hey ho!!!
Watched The 1% Club.
