Brave fore-runners
Great, sunny day this morning with little wind. Still around zero degrees, but through the corner of my eye while brushing my teeth on the porch, I saw these tiny yellow Winter aconite, the first ones in my garden this year.
In another place I spotted a couple of Snowdrops and there's plenty of fresh green growth all around. It's this time of year, a long, slow and hesitant but unstoppable spring is arriving.
I went for a walk as soon as possible to get the most out of the sun, I knew it was going to get cloudy later on, and maybe even some snow would fall.
In the afternoon I went to work at the theatre for the last performance of the revue. The ensemble has done well this year and had many sold out performances. The last show is always a little extra emotional and they try to crack each other up, to the joy of the audience of course. A worthy finish to the revue, now it's time for spring.
