Physalis

This is the dried-out husk and seed of a Cape Gooseberry (Physalis). Please try to ignore the white blotches in the corners; it was a trade-off because when I did it without a macro flash some of the detailed tracery of the husk was lost. Whatever, I think it’s an admirable structure from nature.
