I think this is the first time I have ever done a selfie for my blip. This is me with Chester's club record goalscorer Stuart Rimmer. Stuart was a guest of the club today along with six other former players from the same era and it was great to have a chat with them. It's always good to meet up with Stuart as he helped me when I did a book signing for one of my books in Chester in 2002. 

All in all it was a very good day with Chester winning 4-0. My tour went very well and as a bonus we got to present a trophy to recent signing Dan Mooney.  Dan was previously with the club on loan in the 2018/19 season and won an award for Goal of the Season. However, he returned to Fleetwood before he could collect the award and the trophy remained at the club until I retrieved it a few years ago and stored it in the garage with the intention of giving it to him if the opportunity arose. I gave it to one of the youngsters on the tour to present and it all went very well.
