Today's the day ....................... to be up and running

Pleased to tell you that power was restored to the house, just after midnight as promised - so all was up and running to welcome Tim and Dominic, here for a few day's break over Dominic's half term.

We went for a walk out to the Lifeboat station towards the end of the afternoon.  It was good to get some exercise and some fresh air, although it was rather gloomy - and pretty cold - out there.  The above was taken at around 5pm, which is good in a way because it means that the days are slowly stretching out.  Apologies for the lack of light though - you might just about make out Dominic lobbing a stick into the water?

So nice to have them both here, whatever the weather.  We have a few things planned while they're here ....................!
