Great Bay, Derwentwater

I started the day by driving over to Bassenthwaite Lake to smooth the very choppy water (high winds today) with my ND filters. Unpacked the bag only to find I'd left my filter holder in a different bag!

Returned home, picked up the holder and decided to try the south end of Derwentwater, as the skies over Skiddaw were starting to clear. After a couple of hours, I was finally blessed with some good reflections, and excellent clouds. Worth the early disappointment.
