Grisedale Pike Seen Above Braithwaite
A serious backblip. I am in no mood for crappy photos today, so decided to go back in time when my photography meant something.
We were on one of many walking/photo shoots in the Lakes. It was very early in the morning and bitterly cold.
I bloody loved it. (Please forgive the profanity but that is the mood I am in today)
This image is one frame of a six frame panorama that went to a forty inch canvas. Taken on a Nikon D200 fifteen years ago, and I still have the camera now but rarely use it.
The extra, taken the same week, is of the delightful and iconic bridge over the river at Grange-In-Borrowdale. This one got centre pages in Cumbria magazine which was very pleasing.
I love the mountains, not sure about the cold mornings though, getting a bit too old and cranky for all that stuff.
