The Old Kent Way
A trip out from the office today.
We headed to Kent to meet a sustainable fuel company. It was a quite fascinating visit and has sparked lots of ideas of how we can transition some of our vehicles to this low carbon fuel. My young padawan is on fire at the moment after her thesis has been completed, we've got an EV trial up and running, EV trucks on order and now this transitional fuel that allows us to reduce our carbon footprint quicker. She's loving it.
We stopped at Fortnums in St.Pancreas station before heading back to the office, so that I could buy my mother heart shaped marzipan fruits.
It has been a long day and I was exhausted. I was nodding off at Paddington Station whilst I waited for my train and when I finally got on, I slept all the way home.
Although I did have a mild panic when I looked out the window and didn't recognise where we were. For a minute I thought we were entering Swansea, but thankfully it was just Port Talbot. Phew!
I went straight to bed when I got home.
Today I am thankful for:
1. A very thought provoking visit to a sustainable fuel business
2. A good day with my young padawan
3. Sleeping all the way home
