Dark light

Just playing around with a lighting technique I saw described on Flickr. It's just a softbox directly behind the glass with a black strip of card over the front of it. The black card is smaller than the softbox so the light from the edges outlines the glass.

I've just realised that I cocked up slightly, as I didn't leave a space at the bottom of the softbox. So, there's no light to illuminate the bottom edges of the glass. Oh well, next time.


Should have a BT engineer popping around tomorrow to try and figure out what's going on the DSL line. Hopefully we'll have the interwebs up and running again in the afternoon.
