Step in the woods

It always amazes me that someone carved a nice step out of this tree deep in the woods.  There’s a convenient sapling next to it which works as a hand hold.  I think I know who did it and must check. 

I spent today prepping for leaving tomorrow including wrapping up some emails and conversations that needed having.  After fooling the dog with a walk in the woods I took him over to the kennels and raced back for an important call. 

I cooked a recipe that caught my eye on Instagram and which finished up a lot of things in the fridge.  It was a chicken Alfredo bake and was extremely good.  Spent most of the evening packing which was less stressful than normal, mainly because I have  discovered  packing cubes
