A snippet of a Turkish TV series ‘Magnificent Century’ popped up one of my feeds the other day and now I am hooked! There are over a hundred episodes to get through on YouTube.  I don’t know much about Turkish history and no doubt loads of this will be fictionalised but by the end of 100 episodes I should pick up a bit of Turkish history and language.
