No point in being miserable

The weather is miserable enough. It’s foggy, soggy and waterlogged.

Ever the optimist, I decided to try and buy some sunglasses at Cannock TKMaxx. (Those of you who know the area have probably guessed the next bit.) the retail area is constantly expanding, and growing more roundabouts and potholes. TKMAxx can be seen from miles away and it used to be easy to get to the parking just in front.

After I’d been round at least twice and escaped from Sainsbury’s car park a couple of times, I gave up.

Rather than waste the trip, I popped to Chasewater on the way home. It was soggy, foggy and waterlogged. Even the swans, Canada geese and gulls were wandering around aimlessly.

There were two kids with their mother, jumping in and out of the puddles. I was really envious. 

There’s no point in getting miserable. I’ve come home for a coffee.
