"WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?"
It's been a very grey wet day today - you know the type, when you open the curtains and it's raining, and all you want to do is go back to bed. I'm a bit of a doormouse really, hate the rain - want to curl up in a ball. But when the suns shining I feel everything is alright with the world!!
But because Mr A had overslept, I knew I had to get up to let Phoebe out for her usual constitutional. Well that's what I thought but he did beat me to it.
Now I have digressed a bit - what has that got to do with the above photo?!!
Well because we fell in love with two roses at yesterday's Flower Show (see yesterday's blip), we realised we would have to put them into pots, just in case we move next year. (Don't ask, long storey). So we went to a garden centre to buy the necessary pots, compost, slow release fertiliser etc.
This meant we took Phoebe with us and of course not Jazzmine the cat.
They are both very jealous of each other - huge rivalry. So when we returned Jazz (for short) was sulking on our bed. Ah - a blip moment I thought. But it's amazing in our household when a camera appears, Sassie my other older cat decided to jump on the bed also, causing much consternation. Phoebe also was trying to get attention by raiding the bin and trying to eat a discarded tissue.
Jazzmine is pulling her grumpy, how dare you face, allowing HER to come into my space. She is a Seal Tortie Birman, now approaching 6 years old and is extremly intelligent. She tolerates Phoebe trying to lick her ears etc. but will smack her one when provoked.
Hope your day has been better than mine. Managed to print off the chords for two new songs we want to work on for an expected concert, but that was about all.
I have the Sunday evening blues, not looking forward to tomorrow's back to work. Hoping you all have a good night's sleep, not what I achieved last night, and you all survive the horrible weather that is forecast.
Thank you for reading my usual 'tripe' and being part of my life.
