2025 Wednesday — Roadtrip North
Los Angeles on a not so visible, rainy Wednesday morning is not very poetic, but the clear freeway on the north side of Southern California’s metropolitan city is wonderful and hugging the H2O is always delightful. The tunes Mr. Fun plays are also always good.

The 4 hour drive south to attend medical appointments and gather all paperwork for our upcoming tax appointment is no longer a Disney “E” coupon for us (I realize the youngsters won’t “get” that). But the almost empty highway ALL the way south on Superbowl Sunday morning was a lovely bonus.
Meeting Mr. Fun’s new cardiologist with his graceful advice and lots of encouragement was a wonderful blessing, and last night’s dinner gathering with our daughter (Deidre), our grandkids (Ashly & Robert, and Emerson), and our great-grands (RJ and baby Charlotte) goes beyond description.
Holding my newest great-granddaughter and feeling her tiny little fingers grip my finger is an experience that cannot be contained in alphabet letters. Talking with our grandkids and getting to hear the details of their lives was nourishing to these two grandparents.
We left the Corona homestead this morning where we lived long ago for 28 years and raised our two children (it's the house my parents purchased when I was in 9th grade at Corona Junior High, we purchased it in 1970 and moved out and turned it into a rental in ‘94 and then we moved back in 2018 to downsize and retire).
As we return to the coast today we leave with hearts full and so grateful to God for the family he has allowed us to have. We leave with enormous thanks that God has adopted the two of us into His family. He has blessed us beyond anything we could have ever imagined; an Ephesians 3:20.
Good night from a rain wet
Central Coast of California,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
