Chocolate Tuile

I had a long lie this morning and then breakfast in bed, courtesy of Mr P as a Valentine’s Day treat.
Our next treat was a 5 course lunch at Dean Banks at the Pompadour in the Caledonian Hotel. Son no 1’s Christmas present to us both. It was more a fine dining experience than a meal. They seemed to take forever between courses, so we were there for almost 3 hours!
After our meal, we walked up to the Cameo to see the Brutalist. The film was also long, so much so that it needed an intermission, however we both enjoyed it and Adrien Brody was superb in the leading role.
Home now and back to reality. We’re making trifles for the parish fundraiser tomorrow evening.
